Vacancy - 2nd XV Team Manager

Aberdeen Grammar Rugby are looking for an enthusiastic Club member to undertake the role of Team Manager for the Senior Men’s 2^nd XV which will play league matches in the Caledonia North Region League Division 3 in Season 2023/24.  

The league season extends from Saturday 9^th September to Saturday 25^th November 2023 with home and away matches against clubs based in Aberdeen, Huntly and Turriff. Further local friendly matches are being arranged on an ad hoc basis through the season.

Working with the 1^st XV Team Manager, Director of Rugby and the Senior Coaching staff the key requirements of the role will be:

• fulfilling 2^nd XV team administration
• using the on-line Scottish Rugby SCRUMS system
• attending 2^nd XV matches on a Saturday
• travelling with the 2^nd Team squad to manage players preceding and during games
• assess players during games and report back to the Senior Coaching staff at the Club

This is a vital non-coaching role suitable for any Club Member interested in developing our senior Men’s team players and contributing to the ongoing success of the Club.
