AGR scored 5 tries (2 converted) by Jack Geddes, Ben Renton (2), Scott Byars and John Gamba to take a convincing 31-0 lead late in the first half, however repeated penalty infringements resulted in Jack Burnett taking a yellow for the team with 3 minutes left before half time. This disruption resulted in Orkney scoring 2 quick tries of their own, giving AGR a half time lead of 31-14.
Orkney were quicker out the blocks in the second half with a converted try which reduced the lead to 10 points (31-21).
However AGR quickly found their attacking form again with 3 further tries from Scott Byars, Fraser Christie and Craig Shepherd (2 converted).
Orkney had the final say with a converted try deep into into injury time.
It was a satisfying end to AGR's home games this season with one final league match to play away at West of Scotland on 29th March.
