Former Rubislaw favourite Murray Douglas helped Brumbies to a 28-23 win over Queensland Reds that ended a 16-year Australian Super Rugby drought for the Canberra-based outfit.
It was the 30 year old Fifer’s final appearance for Brumbies before he heads to Japan, having signed for Yamaha Jubilo.
