We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sponsorship & Relationship Manager!
Aberdeen Grammar Rugby are an inclusive Amateur community club based at Rubislaw with over 300 playing members ranging from 5 to 50 years of age. The club has a range of youth mini teams and two senior male teams playing in National 1 and the local Caledonia Leagues. It is the desire of the club to host a women’s senior team and youth teams to complement the girls in the mini section and provide a linear path for the development of all young players in the club. To facilitate the continued growth of the club we require a person or persons to be engaged in the role of obtaining sponsorship from local and national businesses, or individuals who wish to be associated with, and be part of the drive to create and maintain a thriving centre of sporting opportunity and excellence in the North East.
The position is a part time role (approximately 6hrs per week) promoting the club to businesses and individuals to engage in sponsorship of the club (or parts thereof) to allow the growth and development of the club in the 21st century. The role will be remunerated on a percentage payment of money raised, which is negotiable, or a monthly retainer with reduced percentage payment. The successful applicant(s) will report directly to the Club Chairperson.
Individual(s) should be able communicators, IT literate and ideally have previous experience in dealing with raising money in the voluntary or corporate sectors
