Aberdeen Grammar Rugby's pre-season is well underway with the senior squad now training every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Rubislaw (6.15pm).
Last weekend saw our 7's squad reach the semi-final of the The Sam Lobban Trophy https://www.facebook.com/TheSamLobbanTrophy which was hosted by Aberdeen Wanderers RFC at Groats Road. On Saturday 5th August, our Seniors went one better when they won the Strathmore 10's tournament in Forfar!
We lost 26-22 to home team Strathmore RFC in the opening fixture before beating Mackie RFC 22-12 in our second and final fixture of Group A. We then beat Group B winners Dundee Rugby 7-5 in the semi final before going onto face hosts Strathmore RFC again in the final, beating them 19-0.
Pre-season continues with matches scheduled away at Perthshire RFC on 12/8/23 and away at Howe of Fife RFC on 19/8/23.
