This Saturday we remember our Past President Jim Rae when our National League Division 3 fixture against Howe of Fife RFC will decide the first winner of the Jim Rae Memorial Quaich.

Earlier in the season, Howe won the first leg 44-39 at Duffus Park however it is the team with the highest aggregate score over the 2 legs who will win and retain the trophy.

Thereafter, the trophy will be contested each season that the two clubs are in the same league. On Saturday, it will be presented to the winning team by Bob Rae, Jim's brother and Howe of Fife member. Other members of Jim's family will also attend the game.

With Howe currently sitting top of the league, and AGR in 4th position after 3 successive "5-pointer" wins, it has the makings of another keenly fought and exciting game.
